My data originally came in as xml and was transformed into the "spreadsheet" look using Google Refine. I cleaned up dates. When transforming the field to the "Date" format, it did add the time. This has already been brought up in another post; it would be great to just have the date format without time. However, I exported my data using the Template option. When I exported the date field that I had changed to the format provided date/time, the export changed it to "THU FEB 12 2009" along with the time. What would be great if it keep its original format (and preferably without the time).
