OpenID provider seems to be broken

Posted on Aug 30, 2008 by Grumpy Kangaroo

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Attempt to log in to LiveJournal or OpenIDDirectory 2. 3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expect: Successful OpenID-login to site. Get: LiveJournal: Error message from livejournal.com "no_identity_server: The provided URL doesn't declare its OpenID identity server." OpenIDDirectory: * openid-provider permission page from openid-provider.appspot.com (with appspot warning) * on affirmative response, HTTP 302 Moved with link * on follow, page stating "The request method GET is inappropriate for the URL /login" (at http://openid-provider.appspot.com/login)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Firefox 3.0.1 / Mac OS X 10.5.4

Please provide any additional information below.

This seems to be due to
