Posted on Nov 19, 2013 by Grumpy GiraffeWe are having this same issue, and yet the solution you have provided "Run As Adminstrator" is not "fixing" the issue. I notice on my laptop, where the program runs just fine, that in the Matlab compiler folder there is both a "v82" and "v717" folder. I tried copying my v717 and pasting on a non-working machine but I still get the error "Could not find version 7.17 of the MCR. Attempting to load mclmcrrt7_17.dll. Please install the correct version of the MCR. Contact your vendor if you do not have an installer for the MCR."

Posted on Mar 1, 2014 by Grumpy CamelI had this same issue - on my laptop I have a "Program Files" folder, and a "Program Filesx86" folder - the second folder requires admin access to make changes. When I first set up the MCR, the Matlab folder is in that "ProgramFilesx86" folder. When I move the Matlab folder over to the "Program Files" folder, it solves this problem you are describing.
