What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a backup of your home directory 2. Get to exclude screen and notice you can't just exclude directories 3. Get angry and make a sandwich
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The exclude rules are quite limited. Most backup products let you at least specify folders which should not be backed up inside of a backup target.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Flyback v0.64 - Ubuntu 9.10 64

Posted on Aug 3, 2010 by Happy HorseYes, this is definitely needed. This used to exist in v0.40 and now it's disappeared? Thanks.

Posted on Jul 23, 2011 by Grumpy RhinoI am looking at different backup software options, and the lack of this option is encouraging me to discount flyback, much as it otherwise looks very interesting. Is there any intention of (re)including this facility?
