What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.use swiftkey keyboard 2.launch connectbot and connect to a server 3.open physical keyboard and try and type some capital letters or alt-key punctuation.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect capital letters and numbers or punctuation. I get a shift-lock effect where everything turns to caps, and i get other incorrect key symbols when i use alt for punctuation. It also stays locked until i hit alt a couple more times.

What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu -> About in the Host List)? 1.7.1

What type of system are you trying to connect to? linux box

If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a", and any other relevant information on the host? screen it says i'm running ubuntu, etc

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm not sure if the problem is with swiftkey or connectbot, as the problem unly occurs when i'm using them both together.
