btstack - issue #454

btstack failing to connect/hold a connection

Posted on Feb 25, 2015 by Quick Giraffe

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.using iphone 5s running 8.1.2 jailbroken with taig, retroarch and btstack with a wiimote. verified origional wiimote not plus (connection button under battrey cover, must remove cover to access) 2.ios bluetooth off, btstack on, tell retroarch to use btstack as input source 3.bluetooth symbol in top bar starts grey, turns bold/black when wiimote starts pairing, then goes back to grey after the wiimote gives up. i never see a red bluetooth symbol that some have mentioned

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? i expect the wiimote to pair with my phone and act as a controller. ideally with a classic controller attached. instead i get... nothing

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? see step 1

Please attach a package log, as described here: http://btstack.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/69548-how-to-get- btstack-communication-log

and provide any additional information below.

as i was trying to turn off btstack in retroarch activator thought i left wifi, which i have set to turn wifi off and regular bluetooth on, which obviously my phone did not like. so much so that it had a very difficult time turning btstack off. uninstalling left its logo in the top bar of the screen, reinstalling allowed me to turn it back of

Hi there.

In the log, there are a number of tries to connect to PSM 0x11 and 0x13, which the remote side rejects with "PSM not supported"

Later, there's a single successful connect to PSM 0x11, but nothing else happens after that.

Finally, there's a connection timeout error. Please contact the author or retoarch or so. I don't see a wrong behavious in BTstack.
