What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Try to connect my Samsung S3 (GT-I9300) to my iPod touch running iOS 5.1.1. 2. The moment i try to pair it (on the S3), BTStack GPS automatically crashes. If i try to pair the S3 (on the iPod), it stays in the connecting circle. 3. I tried doing it on iOS's default bluetooth's parining, it was successfully paired but never gets connected.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Latest version

Posted on Jan 4, 2013 by Swift OxHi. While BTstack GPS crashes and it shouldn't, your Samsung S3 (that's an Android phone, right?) is not a Bluetooth GPS. What do you want to do with this setup?

Posted on Jan 5, 2013 by Happy KangarooHi, thank you for your reply.
I was trying to share my Android's GPS through Bluetooth. As shown here: http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/how-to-share-gps-from-an-android-phone-to-an-ipad-guide/
But it feels not right when I try to pair the S3 with the BTstack, and it crashes.

Posted on Jan 13, 2013 by Swift Ox@alienxists: Please try again, there was an glitch with the registration server triggered by a PHP update. Sorry. - don't highjack issues otherwise.
all others: I've tried with an Nexus 7 and one of those GPS over Bluetooth Android apps. It worked for me, so I assume that the Andoird "GPS" isn't the issue. What other extensions, that might interfere do you have installed?

Posted on Jan 14, 2013 by Happy KangarooNot too sure. I was thinking maybe it was the iOS bluetooth protocols that wouldnt allow Mobile Devices to conenct to them? Possible?

Posted on Feb 5, 2013 by Swift Oxhi all. I was testing with iOS 6.1 on iPhone 5 - kudos to the evaders! - I got an error, too. That's good news as I now have a chance to find and fix it. I'll update here, and sorry for the delay.

Posted on Feb 7, 2013 by Happy PandaHi. Please try this: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/5138628/ch.ringwald.gps_1.7.3-2_iphoneos-arm.deb
It fixed the issue with crashes right after connect, and runs longer than 10 minutes. Also, it uses the full screen of the new tall devices (iPhone/iPod 5).
let me know how it works for you.
