btstack - issue #247

BTstack Keyboard: Input in Citrix Receiver

Posted on Mar 9, 2012 by Happy Wombat

What steps will reproduce the problem 1. Install BTstack Keyboard and Mouse 2. Activate the mouse and keyboard per workaround in isse 115 3. Both mouse and keyboard then work on iPad apps 4. Activate Citrix Reciever to run a virtual session 5. Mouse continues to function within Receiver 6. Keyboard does not function 7. Even though keyboard does not function within Reciever, it does when you go back to iPad apps

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Ideally we would like to use the iPad as a connection to apps in Citrix reciever, but that is not practical unless we have both a functional mouse and keyboard. We fully realize your are a hero for trying to fix something Apple should have built into the iPad from the start.

Thanks

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

What do you do without BTstack Keyboard to bring up the on-screen keyboard? You might need to do the same with BTstack Keyboard to activate the keyboard input (and can then use CTRL-TAB to hide the keyboard again).

Hi. Please try the 1.5 updates of Keyboard and Mouse. On 3.2+ it uses the native hardware keyboard toggle and report back

Also, please start using http://btstack.uservoice.com for issues with my BTstack-based products on iOS.
