I have an itouch 3g running o.s. version 4.1. My device is jailbroken with limera1n. The external gps that I am using is a Delorme Earthmate GPS BT-20. When I had the demo version of BTStack gps my device was able to connect all of the time. I purchased the full version, and now it only connects about 1 out of every 7 or 8 times if I am lucky. There are no error messages that pop up but it will just get stuck on "connecting". I am not sure why it won't always connect and what can I do to solve it? By the way I am using version 1.5 of BTStack GPS.

Thee full version "just" enables use of external GPS in other apps. Can you try recharging/replacing batteries of your GPS?

Sorry for the late reply. It is not the gps that is the problem. I tried fully charging it and leaving it plugged in and neither of those things changed the outcome.

If I were you, I'd try these:

1. install the demo version again, check if it can connect the gps every time.

2. restore your device with clean firmware, and jailbreak it again, try btstack without any other app.
