What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open btstack mouse and turn bluetooth mouse on 2. Choose mouse and have it start to sync 3. Get error message
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect it to sync and start working but I get an error message saying "your mouse turned off its discovery and is unable to sync" yet I have tried pushing the visibility button when it is syncing and it didn't do anything
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 on jailbroken ipod touch on 3.1.2 operating system.

Posted on Jan 6, 2010 by Massive Bearshoot, i forgot, when my laptop is on is only finds the dell wireless 370 thing. maybe because my mouse is synced with my laptop? i'm not sure. anyway, when my laptop is off it recognizes the microsoft wireless bluetooth 5000. i'm guessing this file will look a little different.

Posted on Jan 8, 2010 by Quick CamelI have a similar problem with my MS BT Notebook Mouse 5000 and iPhone 3GS 32Gb. I start Mouse Selector, then put my mouse in discovery mode. The name then pops up on the screen, I click on it, and i'm told "Connecting . . . " Then after a while it fails with the error message, "Connection Failed! Please make sure that it is still discoverable."

Posted on Feb 5, 2010 by Quick CamelI tested it when the update came out. Worked fine, then it disconnected. Have not looked at it since. Will try it again and if the same issue happens again, will get you a dump in a new thread.
Once again, my Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 connects fine to my iPhone without the discovery issues reported in this thread. Thanks!

Another great product. I also found that my MS BT 5000 would not work initially. It appeared to connect but did not ever show the pointer. However, respringing my device seemed to rectify the problem.
Great work.
Cheers,
Eric
