A paint program which uses ASCII characters instead of pixels.

ASCII-Paint is a simple, open source painting program which uses ASCII characters instead of pixels to draw images. It was made to help rogue-like developers, though it can be used by anyone.

7 Sep 2011: A fork of ascii-paint has been created by Ben Porter here

22 Apr 2011: Updated to libtcod 1.5. Also now using cmake build system.

8 Jun 2010: Active development ceased. If anyone wishes to take over this project please contact me.
