I expect that pencil write on desktop, but nothing occours.

if i install ardesia_1.1-1_i386.deb the bug is present, if i install ardesia_1.0-1_i386.deb the pencil works.

so i thing there is a bug introduced with 1.1-1 version that 1.0-1 don't have (works perfectly).

there is needed to fix the bug or alternatively use 1.0-1 version for the official xubuntu/ubuntu repository.
