From Anthony Tuininga: "ODBC raises a few other issues. If I run it against an Oracle database then the "time" datatype is not supported for creating tables -- but the ODBC API certainly supports the concept! I think some more thought needs to go into how to determine what data types to use and not simply limit it by the driver."
