The kernel module acer_wmi is automatically loaded when booting Fedora 18 or Arch Linux on an Acer Aspire V3-571.

I don't know the version of the module, the kernel version is 3.7.10 on Arch Linux and 3.8.3 on Fedora 18.

The problems are: - I cannot connect to WiFi when bluetooth is activated; - I cannot wake up the system after a suspend to RAM; - brightness of the LCD screen cannot be adjusted.

I can solve these problems by blacklisting acer-wmi and by adding the boot parameter acpi_osi=Linux.
