In ubuntu karmic koala (kernel: 2.6.31), when I pressed the wireless button, nothing happened, looking at the xev output it seemed, that it cannot map the button. Now, using natty narwhal (kernel: 2.6.38-3), i checked, if the wireless button works. It still doesn't work, but now the button isn't recognized in xev. Really just nothing happened.

The wireless led lights up, and the wireless network comes up on loading the module.

Now I use the 2.6.38-3 kernel on ubuntu 11.04

Please provide any additional information below.
