issue 161 (Max number of files and blobs is 1000) commented on   -   It seems like the "Google way", would be to use this: http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxlibs/documentation/#googleDotLoad But, this does create a bottleneck if someone wants to use something that isn't currently supported. It might be nice to have a "Google Video" type system where users could upload their own libraries, and then the space would still be conserved as something on the back end could do a checksum to detect if these files had already been loaded.

issue 859 (Integrate AuthSub and Session Tokens with User's API in Weba...) reported   -   AuthSub is fairly verbose, and tedious to program with. Can you integrate it into the User's API, and probably expand session management for the Webapp framework so it can handle session tokens.

issue 858 (Multi-User Administrative Interface for Webapp framework) reported   -   I am breaking down feature requests for the Webapp, as previously specified in this ticket: http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=833 As a potential pay business customer, I would like Google to natively support enhancements to the Webapp framework. Please create a Multi-user administrative Interface for the Webapp framework. This would be both administrative, and allow clients of a potential CMS to edit data.

If the webapp framework becomes enhanced in the future, please support the ability to run secure Python code in the template. Sometimes it can be an efficient way to solve a problem if used sparingly, but this should be a developers choice.

issue 833 (Continue To Enhance, and Support The Webapp Framework) reported   -   Please describe in detail the feature you would like to see included in Google App Engine: I see a clear value in Google offering a custom built web framework like Webapp, and continuing development. One of the reasons is that as a potential business customer, I want an API that reflects the environment it was built to serve. Webapp did something smart in forking a couple of third party libraries like Django and WebOb, and then mixing it with custom Google App Engine API's like Datastore. I think this web framework should continue to evolve as a default that a business, i.e. paying customer can depend on. By offering a default web framework that paying customers depend on, instead of punting that issue to 3rd party developers, it gives a more reliable impression to companies. Personally, I don't like the idea of running my business, or paying for a service where a large part of the API is in the hands of something where I can't file a complaint against. I think Red Hat has a very good business model that validates this approach, and I think it would be a mistake to "punt" the web framework development to somewhere else.
