The University of Zurich is with over 25000 students and 6000 staff members Switzerlands' biggest and most important higher education institution. The Multimedia and E-Learning Services (MELS) are part of the IT Services and are responsible for the development of multimedia and eLearning content, and also an open source e-learning platform called OLAT (www.olat.org).
