Abstract
The currently available version of Tux Typing 2 is a fairly basic program at this stage in its development. The interactive nature of typing programs lends itself to the addition of features which enhance not only the user's experience with the program, but also the functionality and accessibility to otherwise unnoticed information.

Tux Typing lacks a high score tracker, a words per minute calculator, a multitude of modes (though it provides a decent variety of lessons), and a statistical analysis to analyze the specific problems the user may be having with typing and what could be done to improve his speed and accuracy.

By adding these features, in addition to minor changes to increase the compatibility of the program with Windows, I hope to make Tux Typing more user-friendly to parents as well as children, allowing for better decisions on what would be best to help learn and improve typing skills.
