This project aims to provide http and socks proxy support to sip-communicator. This facility is a must for educational institutes, enterprise networks where internet is available only through http or socks proxy. This facility will increase the usability of the sip-communicator in the internet world.

This project will allow the user to set global as well as local proxy for all the proxy supported domains such as yahoo, gabber, rss feed etc. Users will have the option of setting a global proxy in the setting dialogue box. The global setting will include Direct Connection, Http Proxy as well as Socks Proxy. While registering an account with sip-communicator, user will have the option of using global Setting, or set local http/scoks proxy for this account. This will give the user the total flexibility to use the proxy settings.
