The main aim of this project will be to build a stable bluetooth interface to the wiimote in python and to produce a module for 3D tracking of infra-red emitters allowing for precise manipulation of virtual objects using two wii remotes and an infra-red pen. I would also aim to build a webcam IR tracking tool so that some manipulation can be achieved by using a webcam instead of the wiimotes.

A large focus will be placed on developing a clean, easy to use and well documented API to enable other python developers to integrate this technology in to their own programs. For instance, some very cool games could be created using this API.
