Mapbender is an open source project that offers a customizable web mapping interface. By selecting and placing modules, a map designer can create a mapping program to fit their needs.

One area identified by Mapbender developers in need of work is the administration modules. While the administration modules are efficient for experienced Mapbender users, they are not intuitive to the new user. This project would redesign the modules in a hierarchical format to provide easier use.
