Windows Media Audio Professional is an advanced lossy audio codec.
FFmpeg can currently only decode files compressed with Windows Media Audio 1 and 2. The newer variant Windows Media Audio Pro is not yet supported. This SOC project is about helping the FFMpeg developers to work out the differences between wma pro and the previous wma variants. The second goal will then be to write a wma decoder plugin for FFmpeg.
