Semantic MediaWiki (SMW) is an extension for MediaWiki which allows for semantic metadata in articles and links. RDFa is a proposed standard for attaching metadata to elements in XHTML markup. This proposal is to alter SMW so that it will express the metadata it already knows in RDFa format.
