What programming language is ZScreen made in?ZScreen is made with C# for Microsoft Windows. Does that mean I need the .NET framework to run it?Yes, that is correct, you do need the .NET 3.5 framework to run ZScreen. Current Windows version already has Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. Is ZScreen free? Is there any kind of fee for using it?ZScreen is completely free. The source code is published on http://code.google.com/p/zscreen/source/list Why are you not selling this software?I am not selling this software because I believe everyone should be able to enjoy this program at no cost. Also I would much rather receive donations instead of forcing people to pay for my software. Why does ZScreen not close when I press the X on the top right of the window?ZScreen does not close when you do this, it will stay open in the tray. If you want to close it you can right click on the tray icon and choose Exit ZScreen. Can I run multiple copies of ZScreen on one computer at the same time?Starting from ZScreen 2.3 multiple instances are supported. Newer instances will have a * which you will notice in Tray Icon when you mouse hover or in main application window. How can I suggest a feature for future releases or submit a bug report?Since ZScreen is hosted on Google Code, a nice feature is available for this. Go here and then click on New Issue. Why did you build this when you can just hit the print screen button?The print screen button does not provide the same kind of Features this program does. It is already portable if you have a folder named ZScreen in the same folder as ZScreen.exe :)

I couldn't find a Section for Platform or Technical Requirements in Google Code Hosting Service..
Or was it for this Project only...

ZScreen is coded in .NET for Windows. Wine would be the only option as for now.
When I close zscreen I expect the zscreen icon to be on the taskbar near the clock but I do not expect there to be a full taskbar object (for lack of a better description) like you would see for an open program.

I assume that this is the option "Show main window in taskbar" that is grayed out.
Other then this issue you have a great project. Until I figure this one issue out though I will use another program.
Hi Zane, please download the latest build in http://zscreen.googlecode.com/files and you will in the Options > Interaction tab, you can configure this behavior. Thanks.

Superb job! I like that it is lightning fast. One feature that was in a previous release and that I don't know how to set up in the current beta is - how to set up so it automatically opens the captured image in chosen editor ? OK - never mind .. last min recheck - just found it .. check on "enable image editor" ;-)
FEATURE REQUEST
When taking a screenshot, have it directly upload to imageshack but let US choose whether we want direct link, thumbnail for forums, etc, instead of pre-selecting which one. Sometimes I forget to switch it, or it is a hassle to switch to which one I want. Hope that makes sense lol. Other than that, maybe improve memory usage, I would love to have this app. running at startup and constantly on, but after using it for awhile, memory goes up like crazy fast. Thank you! Keep up the great coding.
Why is it needed Net Framework 3.5? I already have 2.0. Do I need to install the newer version? Boring!
Does this work on linux? This looks like the perfect tool, but I only see exe's and there is no mention of supported platforms :(

Which options should I use to capture menus which stick out of main window? I tried options Active window and Selected window, but they capture only window (menu is cutted at end of shadow).
