The UserAlert entity contains, besides the "entityName", only a "message" attribute. "message" contains a string to be presented to the user. This entity allows the zOGI bundle or a plugin to send a message to the user of a client application. This message MUST be presented to the user without alteration; if the client application is a non-interactive process the message MUST be forwarded to the user or an administrator via some means. If the client application maintains a log file or event log the message MUST be recorded.

An application that does not respond correctly to UserAlert objects is not considered to be zOGI compatible.
