This control panel lets you extract simulated stereo MP3s from You Tube videos, on any version of Linux.

Requires:

• xulrunner - retrieve from Mozilla.com
• ffmpeg
• lame
• mpg123
• mpeg codecs for MPEG 1, 2, 3, 4 (@)
• ecasound

(@) Ubuntu Feisty already comes with these, I discovered.

Ubuntu users can use apt-get and automatix to easily retrieve and install all of the above except xulrunner, which you can pick up from Mozilla.com.
