Important: Looking for YND beta testers

We have finished to develop the next release of YouNote and YouNote Desktop. The main goal was to make the backup process more reliable. To achieve that goal, YN 1.3 and YND 1.3 no longer zip the notes but the next release of YND must be also compatible with YN 1.2. YouNote Desktop is a desktop application for Mac OS X or Windows users that allows to backup and restore the notes created with YouNote on iPhone (YouNote on the App Store) wirelessly.

The backup principle is that YouNote establishes a connection with YouNote Desktop then send a zip file that contains all your notes. The zip file is stored on your local backup folder.

For restoring, it's exactly the same principle: YouNote downloads the selected zip file then, locally, unzip the file and recreates notes on your iPhone.

The minimal release requirement on you iPhone/iPod Touch is YouNote 1.1.

YouNote Desktop runs on Mac OS X 10.4/10.5 on Intel and PowerPC and on Windows XP/Vista.
