Yellowjacket is a programming language consisting of a small virtual machine and various compilers that supports Erlang-style distributed programming.

The byte-code interpreter is written in C, and an assembler written in Perl assembles an assembly-like language to bytecode.

Yellowjacket is in its infant stages, and is not yet useful for writing general applications.
