What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Firefox
2. Choose File -> Quit
3. xpud shows blank menu screen

What is the expected output? 
xpud shows the application chooser

What do you see instead?
blank menu screen

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
Maybe xpud should monitor if a program ends itself and switch back to the menu

The same problem exists with other applications that have a regular menu and "Quit" 
menu entry.

similiar thing: when u close gnome-mplayer, same hapend.

and icon of gnome-player have still little (i) in icon, (like application is running)

I can confirm this. easiest way to reproduce: open Firefox, maximize window, and then
go to File > Quit. A blank window will remain.

same thing for terminal, if you type "exit"

Yes, until you click the cross at the right. 

for example, closing the terminal via "exit" command will close xterm, but will keep
the blank, and when you click on its parent menu, you see that "i", which considers
it as currently running.
