XM Radio Online Plugin for SqueezeBoxServer

On or around 5th Feb 2011, XM Radio made a change to their site which caused the XMRadio plugin to stop working and instead show "http error".

SiriusXM has finally merged their XM and Sirius online streaming sites, so this separate XMRadio Plugin is no longer needed - XM users can listen through the official Sirius plugin.

• Go to www.siriusxm.com. Login and select manage account
• Click on your internetradio account username
• Change login information and enter a username that is not an email address, and a password.
• Now install the official Sirius App and you should be good to go.

New XM Radio Online Plugin compatible with the new SqueezeBoxServer 7.4.x and 7.5.x

The 3.5.2 plugin is compatible with SqueezeBoxServer versions 7.4.x and 7.5.x

It contains a the following fixes:

- Squeezebox /Boom /Transporter menu correctly displays the submenu instead of blank - Extended compatibility to SqueezeBoxServer 7.5

Please use the automatic extension downloader to install (go to http://localhost:9000 or http://127.0.0.1:9000 click settings, the click the plugin tab and check the plugin to install /update it).

Verison 3.2.1 plugins is still available for use against the older SqueezeCenter versions 7.3.x

The XMRadio Online Squeezecenter Plugin allows you to listen to XM Radio through any of the Logitech Squeezebox devices, including:

• Squeezebox Boom
• Squeezebox Duet
• Squeezebox Classic
• Transporter
• Squeezebox Controller
• Squeezebox Receiver
• Squeezebox Radio
• Software emulations, e.g., SoftSqueeze, iPeng

Two version of the XMRadio Online Plugin are available:

Version 3.5.2 compatible with SqueezeBoxServer 7.4.x and 7.5.x

Version 3.2.1 compatible with SqueezeCenter 7.3.x

XMRadio Plugin is compatible Windows, MAC or Linux.

You need an XMRadio Online account. And with a Premium XMRadio Online account, you can enjoy the 128kbps stream through your stereo or out in the yard.
