Read the DevelopersGuide, Javadoc, FAQ and the other Wikis

Download the software try the example code (located in the com.rapplogic.xbee.examples packages).

If you need XBee Hardware, take a look at the Hardware wiki and ChoosingAnXBee

If you are new to XBees, read the manual to learn how they work:
