x360bright 0.2 - Utility to set the LCD brightness in Samsung X360 laptops

Installing

Execute the following command, with root permissions:

  # ./setup.py install

Typically, you can use sudo to acquire root permissions:

  $ sudo ./setup.py install

For more information, see ./setup.py -h

Requirements

This tool is written in Python. You will need to install Python before being able of installing this tool.

This tool set the brightness of the backlight of Samsung X360 laptops using xrandr. So you must have xrandr installed to use this utility.
