Wnotes are Post-It (tm) type notes for Linux and other systems with X Window System desktops. They use the Xlib libraries and are self contained, and should work well with many different GUI desktops.

You can also find Wboard on the download page. Wboard provides a background window that allows you to organize and save groups of Wnotes easily. In effect, Wboard creates a Wnote, "bulletin board."
