Introduction

Here's a helpful guide to the more advanced settings.

PDF Processing Zoom

It increases the quality of the PDF image, but uses more memory to do so. Anything above 1.3 causes images to become distorted (unconfirmed)

Color settings

This is used for setting different colors for the Background ProgressBar and the Empty ProgressBar. It's based on 4 colors which are in the corners and those 4 colors are mixed into each other (blended).

Sound blocks

This is the amount of blocks that should be used for sound playback. Increasing this will make sound playback "more smoother" without clipping.

Sound block size

This is the size of one sound block.

Temporary Path

It's the path used for archive file's execution. The files from the archive are extracted to that path and executed afterwards.

Delete Temporary Path

If enabled, Whatever is located in the Temporary Path is completely removed on exiting WiiXplorer.

Hide system files/folders

This filters files and folders starting with $ and (period). This also filters the thumb.db from windows.

Copy Thread Priority

The priority of the transfer thread when the process is not minimized.

Copy Thread Background Priority

The priority of the transfer thread when the process is minimized.

IDLE = Allows you to do other things while copying things from SMB

Do you think this is the best way to deal with the FAQ? I think a readme like FAQ would be a better support for other users. Maybe like the USB Loader GX readme? Of course it's a lot more work, i would understand if you don't want to :P.

Comment by dimok...@hotmail.de, Jul 31, 2010

OK this is going nowhere. I gave you a chance but i don't think this is working out. You need everything explained and i have the feeling i explained you everything more than once now on IRC and obviously more than what you wrote here until now. Sorry but I think it would be easier for me to do it on my own this way. You don't seem to know much about the features of WiiXplorer?.

If anyone wants to take over this task, contact me on my email or on IRC.

Comment by Gamewiza...@gmail.com, Jul 31, 2010

you're the one who made the app how is anyone supposed to know what each thing does? Besides you.

Comment by Gamewiza...@gmail.com, Jul 31, 2010

Problem?

I have two usb2.0 Raid boxes: TypA: ICY Box IB-RD4320 TypB: Frantec DB-R35DUS (2nd edition for more then 2TB)

In both boxes are two WD20EARS hdd's with 2TB space, so you have 3,64 TB for each box.

Both boxes have a ext4 filesystem and works fine under suse and knoppix Linux without a problem. You can read and open !all! files.

Both boxes connect at the wii shows in wiiexplorer the correct size of 3,64TB and you can explorer the hole directory tree correctly. But now the problem begins: Reading the files under 2TB works fine without mistakes. All Files over the 2TB can't be read and a error message (can't read file) occurs.

Can somebody help me?

If you could add some kind of "Select all" option, or an option to select more than one file you would make life a lot easier.

Can't thank you enough for your time, effort, and generosity!!!

That is already implemented: Press 1 to mark browser items ony by one. Press minus to demark browser items one by one. Hold 1 for about 3 seconds to mark all browser items. Press B to demark all items. The interaction is the same with the context menu for multiple marked items as for one item.
