issue 46 (Navigation with wii nunchuck) commented on by Tim.Eubanks   -   Ditto. I can navigate the menus with the nunchuck joystick just fine. Up/Down Left/Right. But, in game I press Up/Down and get Down/Down. Left/Right and get Left/Left. My Wii is from about the same time period as the previous commenters. And the same issues with other homebrew nunchuck-joystick games. (Quake etc.)

issue 54 (Please complement IR turning with IR aiming) reported by robmaunder   -   I really love the crosshair you've added to WiiDoom - it makes it much easier to see where to move the IR pointer in order to turn the player in the right direction. I just wish the crosshair could also be used to aim the gun in any direction on the screen. Is this feature something you are likely to add in the future? Many thanks, Rob.

issue 43 (Nunchuck only moves the player back.) commented on by mar...@gmx.net   -   Apparently this is a problem of some nunchuck controllers. And according to this thread http://forum.wiibrew.org/read.php?21,18803,18924 a fix was accepted into libogc. I guess WiiDoom would need a rebuild against the fixed lib.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 4.1 Please provide any additional information below. I was wondering just if the apparently latest version of Wii Doom has music (aside from sound fx) because it seems there is none when i use it at this time. If there is any info one could give to help id appreciate it much.

issue 51 (Gamecube and Classic Controller Support?) reported by KSS1992   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. 2. 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 4.1 (apparently the latest ithink..) Please provide any additional information below. I was solely wondering at this point (i saw on wiibrew) it stated that the changing control options on the wiimote etc. has been disabled. If it possible it would be great to incorporate support for the Gamecube controller (or classic controller) for it would help ease difficulties of using the wiimote for turning left and right. I understand it might take time getting used to but alot of times I do find myself losing alot of health and ammo due to the turning with wiimote complication. Incorportating Gamecube controller support would help ease these issues. Wii Quake and Wii Wolfenstein 3-D both have it. Putting it into Wii Doom would make the App all that much more better.

issue 50 (Nunchuck Control Issues) reported by spawnhyu...@ymail.com   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Turn on WiiDoom, play Doom (Ultimate) or Doom 2. 2. Attempt to play any level. 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? - What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 0.4.1 Please provide any additional information below. Nunchuk works, however the controls continually mess up, where like pushing the stick forward makes you bo backward, or even later right or left. Game also makes you attach yourself to the wall. Occasionally there is no way to move forwards but you must instead walk backwards and constantly watch your back.

Using a nunchuck purchased from Hong Kong 2. 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The nunchuck works flawlessly on all other games I've tried, both homebrew and official. I get no response whatsoever from it while playing WiiDoom, no matter whether it's booted with it plugged in or not, and after dis/reconnecting. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? latest

issue 46 (Navigation with wii nunchuck) commented on by brianwenner   -   I am reading this two months later so I am not sure if a fix has been discovered. I have the same problem. forward = backward, backward = backward, left = left, right = left. My nunchuck came with the wii purchased new about a month ago so I am guessing it is a newer generation. Same results with other homebrew programs like Quake2 and Helium boy.

issue 46 (Navigation with wii nunchuck) commented on by sebastian.falbesoner   -   Some problem here, I a friend of mine tried WiiDoom yesterday and it was impossible to use the nunchuck properly. However, in our case it appears *definitely not* in all homebrew software, so I guess it is indeed a bug that can be fixed within the code.

issue 46 (Navigation with wii nunchuck) commented on by donoteatmikezila   -   I have this problem as well. To describe it much better, it seems that some nunchucks will only cause you to move backwards and to the left, making it impossible to play. It does this no matter direction you press. It does this in all homebrew, not just wiidoom. I hypothesize that newer nunchucks operate differently, or with different motion ranges than older ones.

With the full doom.wad, it works.

issue 43 (Nunchuck only moves the player back.) commented on by twine006   -   I was having the exact same issue both in wiidoom and my emulators (snes9x, genplus, fce, etc.). Then I discovered that my other nunchuk worked just fine. I returned the problem one and its replacement is also working just fine in all apps. Which strongly indicates that it's a defect in the nunchuck itself, not a software problem. *shrug*
