If you wish to carry out more elaborate analysis of the data, sighting details may be exported to a spreadsheet. Select 'export to spreadsheet' from the File menu to export the entire sightings database. Whatever program you use to import CSV files (OpenOffice is recommended) will then open and display the data. You should then use 'Save As' within the spreadsheet program and save the data with a filename, otherwise it will be overwritten whenever a new export is done.
