I agree with Grazroots, I loved the old 1.0-rc2-snapshot-03132355 version where the non-conversation mode offered a character counter. In fact I use iSMS for 2 main reasons: the character counter and the multiple recipients. Could you please put the old snapshot back into installer.app source. Thanx!
I have loaded the snapshot1.02-rc2. It works but takes a while to forward sms and got error message that the forwarding failed but when in fact it went through.

I like your isms VERY MUCH and I noted the following:
1.When I'm writing a message and a call comes in, or phone goes in stand-by or Off, the written part got lost; in the Apple sms application, unfineshed message will stay in memory; Can you fix it?
2. during a message typing, when the input screen is full, words suggested by the automatic dictionary cannot be seen as they appear under the word; may you change that they show-up over the word, as per the original sms application?
3. can you set multiple selection in sms deleting?
Do you have a straight help 1-2-3 to install isms? I cannot download the zip or pxl onto my iphone. I know it sound stupid but can you talk us through it step by step?
Please please please can someone tell me how to download & install iSMS onto my original iPhone that has the latest software updates. I've tried downloading the iSMS Installer Source Setup but Safari says it's unable to download this file. I'll be grateful for any assistance. Many thanks julia

I just added the source and yes I see it listed but on the packages list I don't see Shawn Chain's Apps!! Did you remove the package temp.?

Why not have a try for the snapshot build ? You'll find difference from that build :)

got same problem as s.p.malcolm. Shawn Chain's apps doesnt dhow up at the Categories list.
Same problem here (iPhone 3G 2.2).
I hope we see this in 2.2 in cydia or installer
still no link on installer (2G 2.2)
