Features

VyperBlog(tm) will be a mixture of Flash/Flex/jQuery/AJAX/Python/Django and whatever else may be required to achieve the goals of surpassing the functionality of WordPress for the Google App Engine as well as for native Django deployments.

VyperBlog(tm) is primarily AJAX powered however going forward AJAX will be an option rather than a hard-and-fast feature. You will be able to revert to a standard non-AJAX deployment via a dynamic runtime setting you will be able to Administer via a Control Panel.

VyperBlog(tm) will be integrated with Twitter and FaceBook along with a number of other Social Networking sites and other sources of connections with real human beings going forward.

VyperBlog(tm) will automatically post tweets to a number of Twitter accounts based on certain actions such as writing a new post or updating a previous post.

VyperBlog(tm) will automatically write to your FaceBook wall whenever you write or modify a Blog post.

VyperBlog(tm) will provide a site XML file for the Google Webmaster Tools to allow Google to crawl and index your blog posts.

VyperBlog(tm) will provide a Store Front with an interface with Amazon to allow you to sell Amazon products directly form your Blog.

VyperBlog(tm) will provide a Store Front you can use to sell your own products online.

VyperBlog(tm) will provide payment services through PayPal and Google Checkout via a Shopping Cart.

VyperBlog(tm) will feature automated deployment to the Google App Engine for a setup fee however there will be no fees for using VyperBlog(tm) after it has been deployed for you unless you require certain modifications and enhancements you may not be able to handle yourself. Also, those who wish to use the automated update service will get automated updates for VyperBlog(tm) directly to their Google App Engine Accounts to ensure they have the freshest version of VyperBlog(tm).
