To have the real preview, search isPreview in the project and there should be three places. Comment out them and rebuild the project. Finally replace the screensaver, you should get what you expect.

  issue 12 (Preview does not display in Screen Saver control panel) commented on by tianzhouchen   -   If you have the source code, take a look at drawRect: in ImageSearchSaver. The code there has been defined out. So you can't see anything from preview mode. Besides, the image "Google_150.png" is not included in the bundle, so you still need to add an image and change the image name in the code accordingly to see the preview.
