I have to say that this installed perfectly for me. I loaded the demo then added my own images etc. The ONLY problem I have is that because I am using PNG images, I have a transparent background (for the purpose of rounded corners) and the problem occurs during transition, the corners light up bright red #ff0000 which from memory is the same colour as the demo :(
I have been through all of the parameters and changed all the transition colours but for some reasons my red corners still appear :(

This module is sleek & stylish.The only problem i have is that when i set it up using one of the demo files, it's perfect.The problem is i can't find a way of linking the images & headers in the xml file.help me please bcz i knw there is a code that does that i just can't figure it out at the moment.Help me pliz!
The issue is the a permisson problem of "config" file under "media/mod_vinaora_cu3er". I have granted permission to that file and now it can dynamicly create and read files.

have you ever uninstall this module and re-install it again? because I am having a huge problem, when I re-install it, it says some files do not exist. please expirement this.

this module is working fine if the images are stored in our folder... but if i want some image in slide show from external url than what to do?? i have given link in "URL(s) Image" but it's not working.. there is also one restriction to give ur link in only one line and most of my links are of 2 to 3 line..
k2joom: the red cube is swf, I edited it with flash XM cause I needed it a nice dark blue and no more red.... /media/mod_vinaora_cu3er/flash/cu3er.swf. Though I have the png transparency issue also, except my whole photo disappears, won't see anything.
As a reference for some people who are experiencing the PNG errors, Flash can work with PNG's all day long but Shockwave (which is a compression engine of Flash) has a tendency to fail the majority of the time. You have to remember this is displaying through an SWF Object. It may require you to have Flash installed and activated in your browser to enable viewing but this is not Flash, it is an extension of Flash and there for can only emulate it. I have experienced this problem with a number of programs that compile images for slideshows and they always fail or convert my PNG's into JPEG's for easier handling. Typically when you build a Flash movie one of the first things that you do is select your stage color and when you safe and compress the file for web using Shockwave you have the choice of selecting the background color of the SWF file and if my memory serves me correctly I think it is red unless unchecked or changed. I’m not the developer of this module, I’m just trying to help clue some user’s in on the way Flash and Shockwave work with each other. You can use a 100% quality JPEG saved for web from out of Photoshop and then let the module compress the image quality down to a usable range which is typically 90% of the original sometimes less and others even allow you to chnage it to be lower. It will still load fast and it also allows you to overcome the red corners issue. Good luck to all and I hope this helps.

Olá, consegui resolver o problema da linha vermelha salvando o jpg sem otimizar, obrigada DMobley! O problema está na forma de salvar o JPG. Você até pode salvar em resolução menor que 100% mas não otimize. Também faça com que as imagens tenha as medidas iguais entre elas e que seja informado para os parâmetros as mesmas medidas no administrar módulo. Sucesso!
Hello, I managed to solve the problem of saving the red line without optimizing jpg, thank DMobley! The problem is the way to save the JPG. You can save up to resolution of less than 100% but not optimize. Also have the images have the same action which is between them and the parameters reported for the same measures in managing module. Success!
I need help. My transition setting are ignored by the module. I can´t get them work. Everything I do is ignored and the silding looks alwasy the same. Chinaging pictures, text and so on are working but not the transition settings...
nice module, BUT is just stops working out of nowhere. Just sticks on the red logo. I go into the module and just click 'save', and it works again.] So it appears to get this module to work, you have to "reset" it each day. What a pain.

Hi there, First of all I'e got to say your 3D slide is awesome and works like a charme on our joomla 1.7 installation.
we have encountered one issue though. On our site we're having a live person walk into the site to grreet the customers. Since I've applied the 3D slide the person is hidden behind the slideshow. I've already updated that javascript with a z-index and went from 1-1001 to have the person show above the slide.. with no result.
Could you please let me know how to either set a negative z-index for the slideshow or the z-index the slideshow is using. Actually the sites dropdown menues are hidden behind it as well.
I would like to take your slide live as quick as possible since the current one is giving us loads of problems. The site is linked in my wp profile.

I have used previous versiosn without issue, but this just wont work other than in demo mode.
So, i decided to use one of the demo files, changed the default image locations and it works for me.
The only issue is how to change the cube background colour when it goes through a transition.
I have set cube_color="0xCCCCCC" but it is still display it as the original red.
Any ideas?
I have since found that this issue only appears with png images with transparency set. I just can not find where the default red colour is coming from

i have also changed the /media/mod_vinaora_cu3er to 777 but still its not working(appears just rd cu3er logo).Please anyone can solve this issue?
I've found out that some servers don't support this module(showing 500 internal server error in my case).
i got the issue fixed with internal server fixed when i changed all file permissions of the all the files and folders to 755.This module rocks!!!
How do i center it? in the module settings i dont get it to be centre.

Yes i is! Just go to admin / modules and copy Vinaora Cu3er 3D SlideShow? and adjust to your needs.
Now you can show a different slideshow on the home page ore any other page.
