Prototype development of a Vic-20 graphical user interface framework.

Status:

The prototype framework is mostly complete. Next steps are:

• Modularize the code for dynamic loading of used components.
• Support for further input devices (Light-pen, PS/2 mouse).
• Enhanced support for different hardware (built-in 3K RAM, Final Expansion 3)
• Loadable font support.
• etc.

Final Expansion 3

Apart from the GUI demos there are also two programs for the FE3 that I wrote to explore the 512K RAM and investigate its use for the GUI.

• A Task switcher (FE3TS), which enables you to switch between virtual Vic-20 environments and save and load their state at anytime.
• A RAM Disk (FE3RD), which uses the extra RAM to emulate a disk.
