LaTeX Setup Guide (Windows)

This is a tutorial written for Windows user. It will guide you to setup your computer to run LaTeX and compile a thesis sample provided in utmthesis.

In addition, it introduces a few extra tools that might come in handy when you are writing LaTeX documents.

Basic Setup

You will first setup MiKTeX, a Windows-based TeX/LaTeX implementation. Then install Texmaker, a LaTeX editor and use it to compile a thesis sample.
