Underbooks is a realtime roguelike that evolves around books and a library basement. Sell books, get rich and buy the whole friggin library!

This game was originally a (successful) entry for the 7 day roguelike competition 2009 but development has been continued since.

The orginal versions will remain downloadable but they are very unbalanced and are not recommended for n00bs ;)

This roguelike uses jice's wonderful libtcod library which I recommend for every C/C++/C# and Python roguelike developer.

Currently there's a Windows and two Linux ports (32-/64-Bit). If requested I might release a Mac port.

If you find any bugs, have problems running the game or you have cool ideas and suggestions for additions to the game, feel free to open new issues or contact me via RotateMe(at)gmail.com

There's another, more classic page for Underbooks: http://home.arcor.de/avielsstand/underbooks.html And there's a Roguebasin (the roguelike Wiki) entry: http://roguebasin.roguelikedevelopment.org/index.php?title=Underbooks
