ubiquity-xforms-cpp will become a generic, full-featured, XForms processor that provides a complete implementation of the W3C's XForms specification. The core XForms processor code will be usable within a range of different environments, by way of different language-, browser- and platform-bindings.
The core code was seeded from formsPlayer, which is heavily dependent on Internet Explorer and COM (and so Windows). These dependencies will be removed over time, and the first step towards this goal is Ubiquity formsPlayer, an IE for Windows binding.
