TypicaInTheWild
Typica sees a steady stream of downloads for every release, which is extremely gratifying. I've asked for typica users to share how typica is being used. To that end, this page will highlight projects that are using typica to interface with AWS. enStratus - "enStratus helps you manage your enterprise applications in the cloud with the security and reliability you require." AWS Manager - A free AWS console application demonstrating advanced concepts g-Eclipse - a framework that allows users and developers to access Computing Grids and Cloud Computing resources in a unified way Cloud Studio - a visual tool designed to make the development of applications for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) more convenient IntelliJ EC2 plugin - a nice interface into EC2 from the IntelliJ IDE Lifeguard - Manages EC2 servers to provide scalable processing Elasticweb - Software to manage your web tier in EC2 SimpleJPA - Persistent objects in SimpleDB |

Hi, I have launched a new project that uses Typica: Cloud42, http://cloud42.net.
It's an Open Source management framework for EC2 providing both a GUI and an extensive Web service layer that encapsulates high level functions like transferring files or bundling new AMI's. Furthermore, it is possible to control EC2 AMI instances remotely by sending arbitrary commands through the Web service interface or the GUI.
Maybe my project can be added to this list?
Thanks, Frank
1) This is the only place I could find to contact you. The forums page requires membership... 2) Can't run the simplest app as I can't get the dependencies loaded. I've wasted over an hour trying to sort out the dependency mess - have I the wrong version of something? Am I missing a dependency's dependency? Must...resist...urge to choke... 3) I downloaded the querytool, thinking maybe it would help with the dependency problem. It crashes at launch "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException?: 0
So I'd love to tell you about the great xyz app I wrote and the blog where I covered your API, but having just wasted a bunch of time I guess I'll write my own...
this is a great API. You saved me lots of headaches.
Thanks for the great API to Amazon EC2 services. Jeff Barr of Amazon recommend Typica to us. We are now shipping TestMaker? 5.3 with Typica-based support for running functional tests, load and performance tests, and business service monitors on Amazon EC2 instances. Details on our Cloud Testing support are at http://www.pushtotest.com/products/cloudtesting

The (free) web game www.stateofwar.net uses typica as well - it's all based on Java and AWS.
