What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Emacs.
2. Activate the t2t-mode.el from r600.
3. Type in any text in the body area which contains a number in the middle of
the line.

What is the expected output?
The number, with no highlighting.

What do you see instead?
The number and one whitespace character before it are highlighted with the face
which is used for lists. If the number is at the end of the sentence, the
period after it is highlighted as well.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r600; GNU Emacs 23.2.1 on Arch Linux with GNOME
