Tomato 簡介

tomato 是免費開放原始碼的 Linux 平台韌體, 支援數個 Broadcom-平台的 無線路由器，包括 ASUS WL-500GP BUFFALO WHR-HP-G54 LINKSYS WRT54G.

Tomato 的主要重點是在穩定性、 速度和效率. 它是由 Jonathan Zarate 開發 ，他也維護 HyperWRT tofu .

Licensing

While the core source code is licensed under GPLv2, the source code for the user interface is under a more restrictive license which forbids use without the author's permission.

儘管 core source code 是使用 GPLv2 授權,但 source code for the user interface 是使用限制更多的授權.你無權使用這個 UI 除非你獲得作者的同意.

Tomato 的 核心碼 是由 WRT54GL_v4.30.11_11_US.tgz 修改出來的, 所以這部份是使用 GPLv2 的授權. 但 Web UI 是 Jonathan Zarate 是自己寫出來的, 所以 Web UI 的所有權是屬於 Joh 的.並不是 GPLv2 授權. 所以你要使用 Web UI 之前, 要先取得作者的同意.
