The http://twitter.com/statuses/public_timeline.xml API is returning 
incorrect profile_image_url of the user since yesterday. If you check the 
profile_image_url from http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline API it's 
different from what is returned in public_timeline.

I think some thing has changed recently

Can this be taken on priority it is occuring with almost all the users returned from 
public_timeline API.

Even Bug ID 346 is calling out these <profile_image_url> inconsistences.

I'm working with the maintainer of the public_timeline code. He's busy tracking down
the source of the problem and fixing it.

I have spoken with the code owner. Said that the fix is nearly ready but it is a
largish architecture change. As a result, it will take a number of weeks to get this
fully deployed as there are other fires to fight this week.
