| Issue 311: | Feature request: method for getting disabled Twitter IDs | |

As posted on the developer group: "What I propose is a simple method for grabbing the Twitter IDs of those accounts which have been permanently removed. If we could have returned an array of these ids (much the same as the new Social Graphs methods return only the IDs of a user's friends or followers) it would help us all keep our systems clear of these defunct accounts. Perhaps options for a since_id or since_time would also be useful so we only get the IDs we haven't already cleared out." Thanks! |

Another way would be to simply provide these as a RSS/ATOM feed ... are you thinking this would be an authenticated API call? I'm guessing that the IDs are not reused ... so the feed could allow a way to request "since some date/time" to get them all. The items in the feed could contain daily removals ... Anything would be great! |

This will be extremely helpful. Some spammers generate lots of junk data in our system and we don't have efficient ways to clean them up. (we definitely don't want to loop through 10s of 1000s of twitter profiles and check each of them). Hopefully this can be implemented soon. |
