Overview

TweetDroid will be designed to function as a unified micro-blogging client running under the soon-to-be-released Android platform.

Features

The idea of TweetDroid will be to federate many of the different micro-blogging services (Twitter, Laconica, etc) into an easy to use interface.

Features will include:

• Full Twitter API Functionality
• Full Laconica API Functionality
• Other Micro-Blogging (BrightKite, Jaiku, etc)Functionality (Dependent on API availability)
• GPS Location Updates (Dependent on Hardware)
• TwitPic Posting (from previous picture, or direct from camera)
• URL Shortening (is.gd, twurl.nl, tinyurl, etc)
